Balcony systems
The frameless glazing system offers a convenient way for expanding the area of your house. Frameless glazing protects your balcony from rain, snow, wind and dirt. Glazed balcony can be furnished and decorated, for example, as an addition to your living room.
Basic properties of frameless glazing
Easy to use. Durability and easiness of use were the main requirements when designing frameless glazing. The frameless glazing system has many unique patented features. When opened, the frameless glazing system occupies very little space, so you can completely open the balcony. The system is very easy to use and can be completely opened for cleaning.
Peace and quiet. The balcony glazing system efficiently reduces the noise that comes from outdoor environment. The balcony glazing system significantly reduces the noise from cars and construction works, which is a great advantage in the city. The tests conducted have shown that balcony glazing reduces the noise level on the balcony by more than 50%! (The reductions of noise levels up to 17 dB were measured).
Durability and safety. Durable aluminium profiles and durable glass that are used in all frameless balcony glazing systems provide good protection from breaking in and access to the balcony from outside. The sections of balcony glazing cannot be opened from outside. A glazed balcony is a safe place for children to play. Easy to use ventilation columns are made of durable materials and cannot be opened by small children.
Structure
The bases of the construction are the steering profiles (upper and lower) rigidly fixed to ceiling panel and to the parapet of the balcony. The leaf is made of glass and leaf profile, which is glued to the glass by one-component polyurethane adhesive and then riveted to it by two non-corrosive rivets on top and at the bottom, on the profile there are 4 rollers (2 at the top and 2 at the bottom). The glass used in the construction is tempered glass with ground edges.
Due to such type of processing when hit the glass breaks into small pieces with relatively blunt edges, significantly reducing the risk of injuries for people. The thickness of the glass can be 6 or 8 mm. The optimum width of the leaves is 500 - 700 mm. In accordance with your wishes the junctions of the leaves can be sealed with plastic sealant (PVC weather strip). The junctions between the load-bearing profiles and leaves are protected from weather impacts by sealants.
Operation
The first leaf is only turning, when closed it is fixed by upper and lower locks. The outermost leaf is opened by turning it around its vertical axis for 90 degrees, the rest of the glasses are successively moved on their places and turned in the same way. The movement of the leaves horizontally and opening them takes no effort.
Materials
1. Aluminium profiles are painted by the powder spraying method (according to the RAL catalogue).
2. Fastenings from stainless steel and plastic details from elastic frost-resistant nylon and silicone.
3. Glass is tempered and with ground edges, thickness 6 and 8 mm.
4. The colour of the glass: transparent, matte, bronze, smoky-grey or silkprint processed.
